With the rapid development of the civil aviation industry, airport operations management has become increasingly complex. The visual presentation and intelligent application of massive spatio-temporal data have emerged as critical drivers for enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring safe airport operations. However, the lack of unified standards for visualization big data construction in civil airports has long led to challenges such as "data silos" and inconsistent protocols in data collection, storage, exchange, and organization across different airports—hindering the deep exploration of data value.

Against this backdrop, the Technical Specification for Civil Airport Visualization Big Data Construction was developed to address these industry needs. The standard provides comprehensive technical guidelines covering the entire lifecycle, including overall architecture, data collection, storage, exchange, organization, updating, metadata management, data quality assurance, and data security. It offers systematic guidance for the construction and operation of visualization big data platforms in civil airports.

As a pioneer in digital intelligence infrastructure, Brilliant Technologies has dedicated over 20 years to the smart civil aviation sector. Leveraging its independently developed enterprise-level AI-Twin Operating System, the company builds enterprise-grade AI brains for clients based on embodied intelligence and digital twin technologies, enabling business automation and intelligent decision-making. Through continuous refinement of its products and service ecosystem, Brilliant Technologies has successfully delivered solutions for more than 40 smart airport projects, including core national transportation hubs such as Beijing Capital International Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Chengdu Tianyu International Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, and Shanghai Pudong International Airport. During the development of this standard, Brilliant Technologies fully utilized its technical strengths in big data and visualization, integrating advanced theoretical frameworks and proven practical insights to ensure the specification's scientific rigor and practical applicability.

Participation in drafting this group standard represents strong industry recognition of Brilliant Technologies' technical capabilities and practical achievements in smart civil aviation, while also reflecting the company's commitment to fulfilling its social responsibilities. Looking ahead, Brilliant Technologies will continue to drive technological innovation and real-world scenario implementation, supporting more airports in building "visible, manageable, controllable, and predictable" digital-intelligence operational systems—and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of civil aviation.

With the official implementation of the standard in 2026, the construction of visualization big data systems in China's civil airports is poised for a new wave of quality enhancement and upgrading. Brilliant Technologies will collaborate with industry partners to promote the adoption and application of this standard across more airports, making data "visible" and operations "smarter," and contributing Chinese expertise to the development of world-class aviation hubs.
